The British comedy series Stand Up for the Week airs on Channel 4 and features stand-up comedy performances based on current events. The show debuted in June 2010 with a six-episode series that aired on Friday evenings; the second season, which premiered in March 2011, shifted to Saturday nights. Patrick Kielty hosted the inaugural season, which featured regular performers Jack Whitehall, Kevin Bridges, Andi Osho, and Rich Hall. In the second season, Bridges replaced Kielty as host, while Jon Richardson became a regular performer. Richardson took over as host for the show's third season, which aired in late 2011, and, with the exception of Rich Hall, a totally new cast of regular performers, including Seann Walsh, Sara Pascoe, Josh Widdicombe, and Paul Chowdhry, joined the show. Rich Hall was replaced by Andrew Lawrence for the fourth season. Chowdhry will take over as host for the fifth season, however it is uncertain who will replace him or whether any other regulars have been replaced.
