Suburbia
Conceiço is a poor girl who fled Minas Gerais in pursuit of a better life away from the coal-burning ovens. She escapes on a cargo train to Rio de Janeiro, where she is taken in by a loving family in the outskirts of the city. Cleiton, a hardworking and rebellious young man who grew up without a father and lives on the edge of good and evil, becomes her love interest. Conceiço rises to fame as a Brazilian funk singer, but she retains her pure personality, ensuring her integrity in the face of life's challenges. These ordinary folks face a problem that we all face: how to keep your sense of justice, ethics, and morals in the face of violence, unfairness, and a decline in values.
