Takeshi's Castle

Takeshi's Castle was a Japanese game show that aired on the Tokyo Broadcasting System from 1986 and 1990. It starred Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and creates challenging trials for players to complete in order to reach him. The show has become a cult television hit all over the world. On April 2, 2005, a special live "revival" was broadcast as part of TBS's 50th anniversary festivities.
