The sketch show stars David Mitchell and Robert Webb. First two seasons were directed by David Kerr, who also helmed The Mitchell and Webb Situation. Series 3 and 4 are directed by Ben Gosling Fuller. Other writers include Jesse Armstrong, James Bachman, Sam Bain, Mark Evans, Olivia Colman, Toby Davies, Chris Pell, Jonathan Dryden Taylor, Joel Morris, Jason Hazeley, Simon Kane, and John Finnemore. He produces it. Colman, Bachman, and Evans joined Abigail Burdess, Gus Brown, Sarah Hadland, and Paterson Joseph. Many of its characters and sketches previously appeared on Their Radio Show. A second series was commissioned later that year and aired from 21 February to 27 March 2008. Third season premiered 11 June 2009. Since season2, it's been on BBC HD. First season won 2007 BAFTA. The third season premiered 14 April 2010 on BBC America. The fourth season premiered on BBC Two and BBC HD on July13,2010, with 6 episodes. Webb said there are "no plans, alas, for another series of sketches" and that "you'd have to contact the BBC" about subsequent series.
