The Amanda Show

The Amanda Show was a Nickelodeon live-action sketch comedy and variety show that ran from October 16, 1999 until September 21, 2002. It starred Amanda Bynes, Drake Bell, and Nancy Sullivan, as well as a slew of other actors, including John Kassir, Raquel Lee, and Josh Peck, who came and went at various stages. The series was a spin-off of All That, in which Bynes had previously appeared. According to creator Dan Schneider's blog, the show was abruptly ended at the end of 2002. John Hoberg, Steven Molaro, Andrew Hill Newman, and Dan Schneider were among the show's writers. Dan Schneider produced a new sitcom, Drake & Josh, with Drake Bell, Josh Peck, and Nancy Sullivan, two years after The Amanda Show ended.
