In 1969 and1970, Procter & Gamble sponsored NBC's Sunday night lineup with the Bill Cosby Show. It was an American situation comedy that ran for two seasons. The series aired 52 episodes. For the first time since his I Spy co-staring role with Robert Culp, this was Bill Cosby's first solo television appearance. First time an African American starred in a comedy series with their own show.
