"The Birthday Boys" is a scripted original sketch comedy directed by Bob Odenkirk ("Breaking Bad," "Mr. Show") and executive produced by Ben Stiller ("The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", "Zoolander"). The series stars Odenkirk and the Los Angeles comedy ensemble of the same name (UCB Theatre Los Angeles, Just for Laughs Festival), and is in the tradition of absurd/silly/smart/funny variety programs ("Mr. Show," Monty Python), with skits that distort real-life occurrences and cultural touchstones.
