The Legend
The Legend is a historical fantasy TV show from South Korea that started in2007. It stars Bae Yong-joon, Lee Ji-ah, Moon So-ri, and Choi Min-soo. It was written by Song Ji-na and directed by Kim Jong-hak. It ran on MBC from November 11 to December 5, 2007, at 21:55 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The story is loosely based on the legend of Dangun and Gwanggaeto the Great of Goguryeo. It also includes mythical elements of the Four Symbols, which are shown as the four guardians who serve the king of Jyushin. Bae was paid 250 million per episode, which is the most a Korean drama actor has ever been paid.
