The stories of Bodie and Doyle, top CI5 (Criminal Intelligence 5), and their boss, George Cowley. CI5's mission was to combat terrorism and other high-profile crimes. Cowley, a hardened ex-MI5 agent, hand-selected each of his soldiers. Bodie is a cynical ex-SAS paratrooper and mercenary with a penchant for controlled violence, whilst Doyle arrives to CI5 from the ordinary police force and is more of an open-minded liberal. Their relationship is frequently strained, yet they are the best in their field, and Cowley always assigns the most difficult cases to them.
