The Wayans Bros. is an example of a situation comedy that was broadcast on The WB from January 1995 all the way until May 1999. In the show, real-life brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans played their respective roles. Both brothers gained a considerable amount of notoriety after appearing on the sketch comedy show In Living Color, which was shown on Fox during the years 1990 to 1994. John Witherspoon and Anna Maria Horsford were also a part of the cast of this series.
