The Federal Justice Department attempts to preserve political face by taking control of the Tribal Police Force that controls the four Indian Reserves that surround the city. Interim Tribal Chief Samantha Woodburn must navigate political hurdles and prove herself among the Metro Police's old-white-boys club. She must manage politics, protocol, and her new colleague, Chuck "Buke" Bukansky, a seasoned but broken-down Metro Police detective.
