An undercover team follows First African-American DPP Maya. She finds out her husband Nick has been lying to her for years just as she is about to take up the position and her life comes under great public scrutiny. Back in the early 1990s, Nick was a fearless and committed undercover cop who infiltrated political organizations deemed a threat to society. The new Director of Public Prosecutions may be compromised by Nick's false past, which he created while his wife was unaware and his conscience was killing him.
