Wilfred
Wilfred is an Australian comedy TV show that stars Jason Gann, Adam Zwar, and Cindy Waddingham. It is directed by Tony Rogers and produced by Jenny Livingston. It was made by Zwar, Gann, and Rogers, and it was based on a short film they made in 2002 that won an award. The short film was later turned into a series. The story is about Wilfred the dog, his owner Sarah, and Adam, Sarah's boyfriend, who thinks Wilfred is a man in a dog suit. SBS One showed the first season in 2007 and the second season in 2010. The show was nominated for a Logie and won three AFI Awards. In 2010, Independent Film Channel bought the rights to show the first two seasons of Wilfred around the world. The first episode of the U.S. version aired on the cable channel FX on June 23, 2011.
