The American television series Worst Week debuted on CBS on September 22, 2008, and ran until June 6, 2009. It was produced in the United States. The Worst Week of My Life was the source material for this American adaptation of a British sitcom. The show was adapted by Fox for American viewers and given the title Worst Week of My Life, however once the pilot was produced, there were no plans to produce additional episodes for the series. Following the conclusion of Two and a Half Men every Monday night at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, this sitcom debuted on CBS. The debut was watched by 11 million people, which is a third less than the audience for the prior episode. After falling to an all-time low of 8.4 million viewers during the sixth episode, the show's ratings began to gradually improve. The eleventh episode was when they saw the most viewers, with 12.12 million, and then after that they saw a fall. The season-ending episode, titled "The Epidural," was broadcast for the first time on February 16, 2009. Currently, episodes of the series may be seen in Ireland on RTÉ Two at 3:40 in the morning on Sundays. The new season schedule for CBS was revealed on May20,2009, and it included the cancellation of Worst Week. On June6,2009, an episode named "The Party" that had not been seen before was broadcast.
