When Anna Parisi, an unemployed fine arts painter, is unable to make ends meet, she is hired to be Marc's personal Christmas shopper. As they begin to collaborate, Marc discovers that Christmas giving is less about the amount of money spent and more about the significance of the gift, while Anna discovers she may find success as an artist in ways she never expected. The best gift of all, of course, is the love they discover for one another.
