A Country Called Home

Ellie is a 27-year-old woman whose life is not what she expected. Ellie is dissatisfied with her life, which is filled with annoying friends, a self-centered boyfriend, and a career she can't bring herself to pursue. Her world is turned upside down when she learns that her estranged alcoholic father has died, and she embarks on a journey that leads her to a small town in Texas. Ellie must confront what happens when the structures and safety nets we build for ourselves fall apart while dealing with the logistical arrangements for her father's death.
