A Hard Day

A detective accidentally hits someone with his car while driving to his mother's funeral. He transports his mother's body and places it in her coffin. He gets a call just as he's starting to feel better. This caller insists that he witnessed the detective's hit-and-run, but instead of asking for money, he wants to know where the body is, resulting in a do-or-die confrontation between the witness and the detective.
