A Letter to Momo

Momo and her mother relocate from crowded Tokyo to the quiet Japanese island of Shio while clinging to an unfinished letter sent by her recently deceased father. Upon their arrival, she proceeds to explore her new environment, interacting with local children and learning their rituals and routines. However, it is not long before strange happenings begin to occur on the formerly quiet island. Momo hears strange mumblings emanating from the attic of her home every morning after her mother departs for work. Momo embarks on a weird and magical journey to uncover the cause of the mischief, which ultimately leads her to a trio of mischievous imps: the flatulent lizard Kawa, the childlike Mame, and their gigantic ogre boss Iwa. Momo also discovers that her vacation to the island is tied to the mystery letter from her father.
