With three books written under the name Gabriel August, Liam Bradley (Dylan Bruce) has already had a lot of success, but his fans don't know who he is. Liam wrote his first book as a way to deal with the breakup of a relationship. He has since become less interested in writing romantic fantasy, which a sweet but honest book reviewer, Sophie Atkinson (Amy Acker), notices when he meets her on a plane. So the two start a tentative romance when they meet each other in Sophie's home city of Portland, Oregon, which was the source of Liam's new piece of writing, With a long-planned reveal of Gabriel August's true identity, Liam's agent puts him on the spot. Sophia does not know about his public persona. As long as Liam doesn't tell her the truth, he makes a bigger hole in his own back. Will they be able to keep their relationship going when they find out who he is?
