A Resistance
YU Gwan-sun is imprisoned under Japanese colonial rule for launching the March 1 Movement. Unfazed, YU organizes her fellow convicts to defy Japan. Japanese security head feels resistance, lures a convict to find YU Gwan-sun, then tortures her. Gwan-sun pretends to obey the Japanese while planning another independence rally. This movement extends beyond prison, and YU is tortured again. Despite dying two days before her discharge, her spirit is freer than ever.
