Sailor Johannes Blom goes back to his home port, after seven years at sea, to locate that Sally, the woman he has been thinking of while away, is totally despondent. 7 years previously, obstreperous Alexander Blom, brings his mistress Sally to cope with him, his spouse Alice, boy Johannes, as well as crew, aboard the salvage watercraft he captains. In the middle of all the stress on the little boat, Johannes and Sally fall for each other.
