"A TEACHER" examines the breakdown of a young high school teacher (Lindsay Burdge) after she begins an affair with one of her adolescent students (Eric), in parts psychological thriller and intriguing character study (Will Brittain). As Diana, a gorgeous and confident woman, becomes engulfed in her feelings, she crosses lines and acts out in increasingly unexpected ways, making the fling more complicated and hazardous. Lindsey Burdge gets us into the psyche of an adult who is compelled to break the taboo against her better judgment with a truly fascinating and lifelike performance.
