Immediately after the tragic death of her baby son, the mother of a young child with narcolepsy has terrifying sleep disturbances as she and her daughter try to deal with the pain and grief that they are still going through. They start having different episodes of parasomnia, like night terrors and sleep paralysis, which leave them unable to move and only able to see horrible visions while they are asleep. Because these dreams make a hole in their own reality, the mother thinks that someone or something is watching her sleep every night. Soon, the terrifying dreams they had start to come true, leaving the mother in danger.
