Alex & the List

Alex is in love with Katherine, who is smart, talented, and from a good family. Katrina is in love with the way Alex is honest and how he can listen. How does Katherine surprise Alex? She has written down a detailed list of well-thought-out "improvements" that she thinks will make Alex better on their way to becoming the ideal couple. Alex doesn't like the idea that he needs to do anything different. But with the threat of a new competitor, Alex decides to "do the list," which means he will do everything on it. Alex's friends, Dave, Lily, Lily's husband, and their 8-year-old son, Nicky, help him think about and question his beliefs, values, and the world around him as he goes on a journey.
