Kyle Cassidy, a failed musician, is madly in love with Nikki Duke, the attractive wife of an abusive rock star who is on tour. Nikki passes out and hits her head following a wild evening at the Dukes' Hollywood Hills estate. Kyle dials 911 in a state of drug-induced terror. When two newly partnered paramedics arrive on the scene, they rouse Nikki, bandage Kyle, and then attempt to rob the pair-a plan that quickly goes awry, sending the group on a dark, hilarious adventure into the Los Angeles night.
