Diana is a Roman wife who is happily married to a caring husband, Paolo, but she enjoys playing harmless games of seduction with other men while rebuffing the overtures of Silvio, the proprietor of a fashionable lingerie boutique. To keep their sexual relationship from becoming repetitive, she tells Paolo about her exploits in order to keep him entertained. In contrast, under the influence of her lesbian friend Antonietta and her raunchy sister Nadia, Diana begins to advance the plot even further, despite the fact that Paolo is still inclined to believe that the events described by Diana are mere imaginations.
