Toby, Dave Seville's twenty-something nephew, takes care of pop superstars Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. The guys must return to school and are entrusted with protecting the school's music department by winning the $25,000 prize in a battle of the bands competition. Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette, collectively known as The Chipettes, are three singing chipmunks that suddenly challenge the Chipmunks.
