Every morning, Josh is greeted by a sequence of Hells. He has nothing to live for because of his indifferent parents and bullying at school. Josh and his buddies resolve to avenge themselves after a terrible occurrence and the subsequent humiliation of an online video by creating a bloodbath at the homecoming dance. While looking for weapons, they come upon a man who is responsible for far more murder than their plot suggests. When the lads are trapped in his lair and discover an abducted female from the opposing clique, they learn a lot about each other's and their own personalities. Even if Josh is successful in rescuing the imprisoned cheerleader, he must lead them both out in time to prevent his pal from carrying out the plan to murder their school. An American Terror is a modern-day horror mash-up that is both explosive and shocking. Completely and utterly unsettling— excellent atmosphere and sound, and perfectly horrible.
