An Early Rain
Cheol (Shin Seong-il), a lowly auto mechanic, and Yeong-hui, a maid at the French ambassador's home, happen to meet by chance one rainy day. Cheol is driven by a strong desire to achieve success in his life. He pretends to be the son of a businessman and the owner of a luxury sedan when he tells Yeong-hui that he is the son of a businessman. Yeong-hui, who is attracted to Cheol, pretends to be the French ambassador's daughter, and the two agree to meet only on rainy days, when she can conceal her true identity by wearing an expensive French raincoat. Cheol and Yeong-hui continue to go on romantic rainy-day dates, and their love grows stronger by the day...
