Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel
Rejection slips are being amassed by a newly-minted schoolteacher named Anne Shirley. To her dismay, she wins a writing contest for a baking soda firm and makes the acquaintance of a handsome, wealthy bachelor. Her refusal to marry Gilbert Blythe, Diana's maid of honor, leads to her being assigned to teach at Kingsport Ladies' College, a prestigious all-girls institution, where she encounters the wrath of Miss Brooke and the Pringle family (one of whom is a rich, handsome bachelor). Avonlea is calling, and Anne is eager to get back to Avonlea after a successful battle.
