Arizona Dream
With a freshly caught halibut, an Innuit hunter races his sled home. In both real and imagined forms, this fish appears throughout the film. In the meantime, as a naturalist's gofer, Axel tags fish in New York. He's content in his current location, but a messenger arrives to take him to Arizona for his uncle's wedding. It's all a deception to entice Axel to join the family firm. Axel encounters two strange ladies in Arizona: vibrant, needy, and suffering from neuroses and familial strife. He falls in love with one while the other, a wealthy but melancholy man, entertains a zoo of pet turtles with accordion music.
