Attack
At the conclusion of World War II, a National Guard infantry company is tasked with establishing artillery observation posts in a strategic location. The fact that Lt. Costa (Jack Palance) is in command solely as a result of the "connections" he developed while in the United States is known to Capt. Cooney (Eddie Albert). As a result, Costa has severe reservations about Cooney's capacity to lead, and when Cooney sends Costa and his men on a perilous assignment— without providing reinforcements— all hell breaks loose.
