Balloon
Two families attempt an audacious plan to flee the GDR on a homemade hot air balloon, but the balloon crashes shortly before crossing the border into the Czech Republic. The Stasi discovers evidence of this attempt to flee and promptly begins an inquiry, while the two families are compelled to construct a second escape balloon from scratch. The Stasi is closing in on them with each passing day, and a nerve-wracking race against time has begun.
