Bells Are Ringing
Ella Peterson is an employee at Susanswerphone, a telephone answering service, where she works in the basement office. She assumes new personas for each of her customers so that she can gain insight into their lives while also bringing some excitement to her own monotonous existence. They consist of a Method actor who is currently unemployed, a dentist who has musical aspirations, and in especially a playwright named Jeffrey Moss who is currently experiencing writer's block and is in dire need of a muse.
