Jake and Sunti travel to Abu Karaf, where they meet with Mongkol, the group's commander. Mongkol says that Jantapan has been working to corner the narcotics and armaments markets ever since the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001. Jake will have to engage in a conflict that will put both his physical and spiritual abilities to the test to the fullest extent possible.
