Emma is a young, methodical woman who appears determined and relatively sure of herself, having been raised to believe in performance and the idea that all abilities must be optimized. But two consecutive failures (real or imagined) lead her to believe she has a serious problem: she is useless in bed. Emma decides to become... the best lay in Paris! She then embarks on a formidable plan of action (theory, practice, validation of acquired knowledge), which quickly results in a series of misunderstandings and disasters in her immediate vicinity. For one thing, her method does not appear to be well-suited to her field of study. And Emma has probably forgotten one important fact: love does not follow any rules. Emma will learn to let go, to lose control, and, finally, to gain her freedom in this absurd and wacky quest.
