Bite
Casey, the bride-to-be, is bitten by an unknown bug while on her bachelorette party retreat. The bite appears to be completely innocuous. Casey attempts to call off her wedding after returning home with cold feet, but she is prevented from doing so by the emergence of insect-like characteristics in her. In the midst of her physical metamorphosis and wedding preparations, Casey succumbs to her new instincts and begins building a hive that not only contains her translucent eggs, but also feeds on the flesh of others around her. Casey learns the hard way once her transformation is completed that everything can be altered by a single bite.
