The narrative of Danny Krueger, a rebellious young street racer on a collision course with trouble, is told in Born To Race. He is transferred to a tiny town to live with his estranged father, a retired NASCAR racer, following an accident during an illegal street race. Danny is compelled to seek his father's assistance in taking down the local hot shot when he decides to attend the NHRA High School Drags.
