Boxcar Bertha
'Boxcar' When Bertha Thompson, a homeless woman, moves to Arkansas in the early 1930s, she meets a union man called "Big" Bill Shelly. The two work together to fight the railroads, which are run by people who aren't honest. Based on "Sister of the Road," a 1937 book written by anarchist physician Dr. Ben L. Reitman about a fictional character named Bertha Thompson, "Sister of the Road" is based on the 1937 book "Sister of the Road."
