Boy
Even in Waihau Bay, New Zealand, Michael Jackson reigns supreme in 1984. We meet Boy, an 11-year-old who lives on a farm with his grandmother, a goat, and Rocky, his younger brother (who thinks he has magic powers). Alamein, Boy's father, emerges out of nowhere just after Gran leaves for a week. Boy meets the real version of his father, an inept hoodlum who has returned to collect a bag of money he buried years ago, after imagining a heroic version of his father during his absence. This is where the goat makes his appearance.
