Brian and Charles

Brian, an endearing outlier, lives alone in a Welsh valley, where he invents bizarre contraptions that rarely function. After discovering a discarded doll head, Brian has an idea. After three days, a washing machine, and several spare components, he created Charles, an artificially intelligent robot that learns English from a dictionary and proves to be a pleasant, cheeky companion. However, Charles eventually develops his own autonomy. Charles yearns for adventure, captivated by the bigger world or whatever lies outside the hut where Brian has concealed him.
