He has grand plans to propose to his dream lady at her family's lake estate, and Roger, a straight-laced politician, is determined to make them happen. However, when he meets Todd, his possible brother-in-law, everything goes awry: Todd is a full-time camp counselor with a big heart and a wild sense of humor who longs to be Roger's best friend, ultimately leading Roger into a sequence of terrible occurrences. As Roger attempts to assert himself in the midst of outlandish fishing excursions, exhilarating water jetpacks, and American history-themed musicals, he finds that becoming a part of a new family may be more difficult than he had anticipated.
