To help him track down The Green River Murderer, a police detective speaks with convicted serial killer Ted Bundy. Silence of the Lambs was inspired by frightening true-life events, and this film is based on them. When authorities in Washington State begin looking into a string of serial killings committed by a mysterious guy known as The Green River Killer in 1984, they find themselves in the middle of an international investigation. Without any other leads to follow up on, the chief investigator consults with a team of psychologists in an attempt to gain insight into the killer's thoughts. As the killings continue, the detective recognizes that he must personally meet with a serial killer in order to gain a better understanding of what drives him to do his crimes. Thus, he travels to the United States jail system to see Ted Bundy, one of the most infamous serial killers in American history, who is currently incarcerated.
