Campbell's Kingdom

Adapted from Hammond Innes' novel of the same name. Following the death of his grandfather, Bruce Campbell (Dirk Bogarde) inherits "Campbell's Kingdom" in the Canadian Rockies. He's been diagnosed with an unnamed fatal illness and chooses to see if he can locate the oil that his grandfather claimed was present on his land, as well as clear his family's name; when his oil exploration firm went bankrupt, his grandfather was wrongfully found guilty of fraud. Owen Morgan (Stanley Baker) is the CEO of a business that is building a dam that will flood the "Kingdom" when it is finished. It's a race against the clock to show the oil is there before the dam is built.
