Cannonball
Trans-America Grand Prix driver Coy "Cannonball" Buckman (David Carradine) and his flaming red Pontiac enter the race, which is an underground road race traversing the continent in which there are no rules or speed limitations. There is also no care for the police in this event. Buckman competes against an international field of racers for a $100,000 purse while on the road.. One character in particular, Cade Redman (Bill McKinney), is of particular significance because he is in direct rivalry with him for a guaranteed seat on the elite Modern Motors racing squad.
