A few years ago, three Catholic priests were bound together by tragic occurrences. For the rest of their lives, the survivors of the accident gather every year to mark the anniversary of their survival. In the course of a typical day, they experience highs and lows. Lisowski works in a large city's curia, has a successful profession, and is aspired to the Vatican. To make matters worse for him is the archbishop Mordowicz, who has used his political power to build Poland's greatest cathedral. As for Trybus, he's a local parson. He serves an impoverished neighborhood and succumbs to the temptations of human weakness more frequently. Kukua is also not doing well. Although he has a strong belief in God, he loses the faith of his parishioners almost immediately. As time goes on, the three clergymen's stories will once again be intertwined.
