Cotton Comes to Harlem

The Rev. Deke O'Malley, who falsely claims that tiny payments will guarantee pieces of land in Africa, is defrauding Harlem's African-American community. When New York City cops Gravedigger Jones and Coffin Ed Johnson investigate O'Malley's scheme, they discover that the money is hidden inside a bale of cotton. When the money goes missing, however, the police, O'Malley, and others are left scrambling.
