Cross of Iron

It is 1943, and the German army, which has been hurt and lost hope, is quickly pulling back from the Russian front. In the middle of all the chaos, Captain Stransky and Corporal Steiner start to fight. Stransky is a noble man, but he ends up being a coward. Stransky is the only person who still thinks that the Third Reich is much better than the Russian army. But inside his proud exterior is a scared coward who wants the Iron Cross so he can go back to Berlin as a hero. Steiner, on the other hand, is cynical, defiantly doesn't follow the rules, and cares more about the safety of his own men than the many military decorations his superiors want to give him.
