Shiva Rama Raju (Jagapati Babu), a well-known good Samaritan in Parvatipuram, makes a wager with Veerraju (Supreet) in the same village that "if any of his three daughters falls in love, he will either kill them or cut off his ears," and he vows to marry off his daughters to grooms of his choosing, not through love marriage or elopement. His third daughter is Kavita (Rakul Preet Singh). Raju (Manchu Manoj) is a troubled adolescent who falls in love with Sunny (Sunny Leone), an English teacher at a junior college. Sunny's student Kavita is one of his. Raju uses Kavita as a messenger to express his feelings for Sunny; as the story progresses, Raju and Kavita fall in love. The remainder of the story is about what happens when they decide to marry.
