Day of the Stranger

Day of the Stranger is a free adaptation of Mark Twain's classic novella "The Mysterious Stranger," which resurrects the 1970s acid western tradition. Caine Farrowood is a bounty hunter for vicious kingpin Loomweather. Caine is left for dead one day after a bounty retrieval goes bad. He strangely awakens back home to the comforts of his wife Christina, just as he believes his life is coming to an end. Caine is perplexed and perplexed about how he came home, but he is soon involved in the retrieval of another bounty. When Caine finds himself faced against someone who could very well be the fallen angel himself, this one could cost him not just his life, but his sanity.
